Welcoming Note
On behalf of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University and the organizing committee, to the 2nd Annual e-Health Conference under the theme: "The Environmental Health: Global Perspectives and Challenges" Conceive, Design, Deliver. The Conference is held under the Patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Preseident of Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University
Considering the importance of the theme, the conference structure has been adapted to provide better interaction between the participants in exchanging and sharing their expertise and knowledge in addressing the challenges that are relevant to the emergence of e-Health, Environment and Water Resources globally and in the UAE region in particular. It will also provide opportunities to the participants to assess the challenges, share their expertise and experience and recommend new initiatives that meet the needs of the region.
Eminent keynote speakers, from all over the globe will tackle global issues relevant to the quality dimensions of health promotion, the strategic environmental assessment and the water resources.
The on-going sessions will consist of presentations that will concentrate on addressing the Health, Environment and Water Resource issues, their integration and implementation within a global cum regional & local perspectives.
A discussion debate/ Visio Conference will address the Impacts on Health and Environment of the Global Climate Changes.
Two Post Conference Workshops will take place on the 2nd day of the conference to address the "Environmental Health: Challenges and Perspective" as well as the “Innovations in e-Health”. Best Practices Panels will highlight the on-going conference, bringing together experts, scholars and researchers to share their performance achievements in e-Health and Environment.
The Gala Dinner, scheduled on the evening of April 5th, 2010, will be another opportunity , to enjoy your stay and expand your networking among the delegates, keynote speakers, presenters, participants, sponsors, partners, supporters and organizers.
The “Best Paper”, “Best Presentation Awards” and the next year event will be announced during the conference closing ceremony.
Throughout the venue, electronic screens will be operational to keep you updated on the progress of the conference.
