Travelogue

Dubai, the second largest emirate in the UAE, has an area of 3,885 square kilometers. The city is located on the banks of the Dubai creek, a natural inlet from the Gulf. Dubai is UAE's busiest port and commercial center.

Dubai is popular for its world class hotels, remarkable architecture and unmatchable entertainment. The Burj Al Arab hotel on the Jumeira beach is the world's only seven-star hotel. The Emirates Towers, 350 meters high and the tallest in Middle East and Europe, boasts the commercial hub of the city.

Dubai is also the centre of international events with cultural festivals such as Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) for the world's best shopping bargains, and international sporting events such as The Dubai Desert Classic, Dubai World Cup the world's richest horse racing competition and The Dubai Open, the ATP tennis tournament.
